When I graduated high school, a dear family friend gave me a card that read in part “Shine on KC! (Something to remind you.)” That something to remind me was the necklace that I’m pictured wearing on the site’s homepage. In the years to come, “shine on” has become more than a reminder, but a motto I aspire to live by.
In addition to serving as a personal vision statement, this phrase embodies my aspirations for the nonprofit clients I service through this consultancy.

Without strategic communications, nonprofit organizations cannot fully communicate why they exist, what they stand for, and how stakeholders may take meaningful action to enact substantive change.
